HISTORY

Rema Rainbow Valley ( RRV ) project was conceived and implemented in 2003 by Rema Country Holdings Ltd. ( RCHL ) a Public Limited company headed by Mr Ivan D’souza and part of the MASS/REMA group, well known in Bangalore in the media and construction fields.
RRV is situated about 60 kms from Bangalore nearly 20 kms from Hosur in Tamil Nadu. Enjoying an elevation of almost 1000 metres, the property extends over 150 acres of undulating land sloping on to a large lake and providing great views over the surrounding countryside.
The property is divided into 407 plots most of which are a standard size of 9600 sq.ft (nearly quarter acre). The project is endowed with a club house, a swimming pool, health club, a boat club a shopping centre and a children’s play area.. In addition there are several common areas that are landscaped.
In terms of the constitution of RRV, all plot holders are obliged to become members of an Association which is vested with the ownership and control of all the common areas and which has powers to raise funds for the maintenance of the property. RRV is managed by Rema Rainbow Valley Residents and Plot Holders Association (RRVRPOA). Please refer to the section on RRVRPOA.
Between 2003 and 2008, there was a dispute between RCH and RRVRPOA. This has been settled by an agreement dated 18April 2008, whereby RCH recognised RRVRPOA as the sole representative of the plot holders and closed down the association formed by them. SEE agreement.
There are also ongoing sales by existing plot holders and information on this may be obtained by writing to rrvrpoa@gmail.com
