Your plot of land in RRV has value only because it is part of the RRV scheme, the infrastructure of which comprises well laid out, tree-lined, access roads, drainage, lighting, provision of water, a club house with a swimming pool, a shopping centre, a health club, a boat house etc. This infrastructure spread over an area of over 200 acres needs to be maintained and kept secure from encroachment. RRVRPOA is responsible for the maintenance and the security of these common assets at RRV. This requires money and it stands to reason that all plot owners pay a share of this cost.. It is therefore only fair that all plot owners should become members of RRVRPOA and pay their share of this cost which is represented by an Annual maintenance charge (AMC). Your investment in RRV is valuable. Land prices have begun to rise in the area and with the continued development of Bangalore and Hosur, the demand for properties such as RRV will see an increase. Legally too all plot holders, by virtue of the documents signed by them with the promoters at the time of purchase, are automatically members of RRVRPOA, the body recognised by the promoters as representing the plot holders.
What if i have more than 1 plot?
There is a concession for plot holders who have more than one plot.
Besides security and maintenance what exactly has RRVRPOA achieved?
Security and maintenance is what we see as our primary responsibility towards our members and to the plot holders. Visitors to RRV will see that the roads and infrastructure are well maintained. We have embarked on a scheme for the gradual replanting of trees and the maintenance thereof in specially designated common areas .Over the past year we have planted more than 600 saplings in these areas. You can view pictures of this on the site (Click on Photo Gallery)
Over the past 3 years more than 10 plot holders have begun developing their plots by planting saplings and flowering plants with the help of the association. We are now in a position to offer a comprehensive Plot Maintenance Scheme (PMS) for members who would like to develop their plots and thus add value to their investment.
The association was also instrumental in coordinating the case that some members have brought against the promoters in the Consumer Court in Bangalore.
It is thanks to the efforts of RRVRPOA that the long standing dispute with the promoters has been settled amicably as per the terms of an agreement signed on 18 April 2008.
It must be pointed out that the fact that prices in RRV have risen steadily over the past 3 to 4 years is in great part due to the efforts of RRVRPOA in maintaining and securing the property.
Where was RRVRPOA registered?
RRVRPOA was registered on 4th April 2003 under Societies Registration Act 27 of 1975 and the registration number is 77/2003. (Copy of the Certificate of Registration is available on this website)

The membership fee of RS 500 is a once for all payment. You can pay this membership fee along with the AMC draft / cheque payable in Bangalore and drawn in favour of RRVRPOA. This cheque can be posted to the Treasurer:
The main items covered by the AMC are the salaries of the staff at RRV, the cost of repairs and maintenance of fixed assets, legal expenses, the payment of land tax for plot holders who have not yet constructed cottages etc. Providing security and ensuring that the infrastructure of RRV is maintained requires security staff and labour. In addition we have a site Manager who is responsible for the day to day running of the estate and he reports to the Executive Committee. He also follows up on various issues with local authorities and provides assistance to members when they visit RRV. In addition to these running expenses it is hoped to build up a reserve fund that will in due course be used to repair some parts of the infrastructure
How many members does RRVRPOA have?
Almost all plot holders are members. There are a few who have not been traced and a few who unfortunately have still not paid their dues.
What about the other plot holders?
Over the past 10 years or so when the first plots were sold, many plot holders, especially those living outside Bangalore and NRI plot holders have moved address.
We have not been able to contact a number of such plot holders. We are making every effort to do so and to convince them of the need to join the association. If any of you know of friends who have bought into RRV and who you think are still not members, please contact us and give us their names and addresses and we will make every effort to contact them.
