On behalf of the Executive Committee it gives us great pleasure to welcome you to this meeting and to present the 17th annual report and audited accounts of RRVRPOA for the financial year ended 31st March 2020. The meeting is being held partly by video
conferencing in view of the pandemic. We thank members for their cooperation and
patience.
Accounts: The audited accounts were sent to you together with the notice of the meeting. Our
finances are healthy. We continue to cover our costs and are able to increase our reserves which help us to carry out vital repairs and refurbishments without making additional calls on the members. We control our expenses and are running a cash surplus because of the recovery of arrears of AMC.
The year in review: The refurbishment of the CH continues and we have completely renovated the first floor
(doors / windows and electricals). We have postponed the painting work on the first floor
and the exterior because of the problems connected with the pandemic. We have
identified and successfully dug one more bore well which adds to our water resources.
We are continuing to mechanise much of the work and improve efficiency. We take this
occasion to thank the Estate Manager and members of the EC who supervised these tasks.
No progress has been made by the promoters to obtain in principle approval of the lay out as required by the Regularisation Rules. After obtaining legal advice we have decided not to wait for the lay out approval but to proceed directly with the regularisation of individual plots. Currently we are assisting members in the obtention of individual pattas after which we will proceed for regularisation of individual plots.
We take this opportunity to thank the estate manager and all the staff as well as all
members who served on the EC this year.
