ANNUAL REPORT 2020
Friends
On behalf of the Executive Committee it gives us great pleasure to welcome you to this meeting and to present the 18th annual report and audited accounts of RRVRPOA for the financial year ended 31st March 2021.
Accounts
The audited accounts were sent to you together with the notice of the meeting. Our finances are healthy. Our control of our expenses, our prudent financial management and the recovery of arrears have helped us, once again, to run a cash surplus. This increases our reserves and enables us to carry out vital repairs and refurbishment.
The year in review:
We have placed on hold the refurbishment of the guest rooms and the Boat House . We need to know what exactly the members are looking for and how many are willing to use such premises. We propose to consult with members by way of a questionnaire in the weeks to come.
We have identified and successfully dug one more bore well which adds to our water resources.
We are continuing to mechanise much of the work and improve efficiency. We have improved the street lighting by installing LED dusk dawn luminaries.
We have arranged for an annual health check of our staff at Gunam Hospital in Hosur at reasonable rates thanks to the directors of the hospital who are also plot holders. Our thanks to them.
No progress has been made by the promoters to obtain in principle approval of the lay out as required by the Regularisation Rules. A discussion on this subject will be held during the course of this meeting to update members.
A full discussion will be had at the end of the meeting on all aspects of the regularisation of individual plots as required by the TN Govt Rules of 2017.
We take this opportunity to thank the estate manager and all the staff as well as all members who served on the EC this year.
